It's dusty much of the time where I live, so it wouldn't matter what color the paint, everything on the bike, including my leather bags are often dusty. I'm usually pretty **** about clean bikes, cars, etc. but I have somehow found peace with just letting it get dusty and riding it....I spray and wipe the tank off periodically but that is it until a weekend wash job. It's kinda like an old horse, gives it character. When I do clean it, there is nothing like the shine of Vivid Black!

To cut down on swirl marks, apply wax in the same direction that the paint was
sprayed on and buff out the same way. Don't use circular motions.I know it may
sound crazy but I was told this by a professional detailer, and my 06 Vivid Blk
RK still looks like new after a cleaning, and yes,my wife thinks I'am NUTZ.
She's not the only one. Unless it was painted by a 10 year old with a paint brush, you shouldn't be able to tell which way the paint was applied.
Black and Chrome....AAAAHHHHH.....The only problem is finding it amongst all the other Black Beauties at the Bar or Rally....So i just leave mine dirty so it STANDS out in the crowd!!!!! LOL.... And yes my(Black) Chaps and Fingerless gloves DO match quit well (Thank You)...... R.W.
