I just bought the two dvd's. The one was for normal service and the other was for performance and enhancements. Both are pretty interesting to watch and can help you get over the nervousness of working on your own bike. It also shows some of the tools you need and that's a really big part of working on a bike. Of course get the service and parts manual as well so you can get a good visual of the parts and even make notes of uninstalling in the parts manual so you can look and read from the same manual. I got the FIX MY HOG touring DVD from Australia for about 17.00 and that included shipping. Shows you what a ripoff these dealers are in America, especially when it comes to shipping costs. Here is a link to the aussie site. It says 19.95 but that's aussie dollars so if you use paypal, it comes out to about 17.00 after the conversion. This is in their "closeout" section so I don't know how many they have left.

I like the DVDs too...as stated above. It's good for the begining and the seasoned rider/wrench for keep up! I've watched mine a number of times due to things I'm eithger unclear about or haven't dealt with yet!
Last Novemebr they used my bike as one for filming a new video. I know they were doing a new verson of the Softail as well. I think they were doing the ABS breaks as well. They had probably 4 or 5 bike that they were using for the videos. So it migh be worth waiting until the new videos are released. I was told in the first quarter so I though it would have been out by now. Might send an e-mail to Dennis (he's a good guy) and ask when the new videos will be released.
Ratkiller
sounds good, im a hands on kinda guy so seeing it done is easier for me than a manual. Plus i figure it may save me money in the long run if i do my own maintenance.
