I've been checking out their website and really like the looks of the new step contoured windshields. But I can't decide which I should go with. The Euro style looks like it will clear a wider path of air than the dome style. I prefer the looks of the dome style. But I want to get as much air noise out away from my ears as possible. I spent too much money on stereo upgrades to loose the sound to the wind whistling past my ears! Or through them....I can never really tell.
Looking for comments on either of these from anyone here that's using one. Thanks for your help!
I'm also interested in hearing more reviews on the new Cee Bailey's SSC shields. I've been hemming and hawing about ordering one for a bit now and can't decide between the Euro style and the dome style. Let us know how it works out.
Beautiful bikes. That colour really works, don't it.
I have the 15'' euro. I can definitely hear the stereo better than with the stock shield. Also my glasses don't bounce around as much. When I talked to the Cee Bailey people they told me the euro provided a larger protective pocket.
There is more wind than stock, but it IS much shorter (and it looks GREAT). The wind "noise" is not an issue, like it is with a similar looking shield.
Im 5'7" have an 08 RG with fac. seat. I went with the 15" Euro. Ive noticed a little more wind, but all in all its just like the fac shield, only looks better. It didnt change up anything with wind noise. The bottom line, I like it, and would buy again.
