better wind/rain protection?

I ride 18-23K per year. I'm on my second RG and really love it. Simple fact - The more we ride the higher the probability of riding in rain and cold weather. For some reason last year was by far the worst year for riding in rain. I had rain during 3 of the five trips I took last year. LOL I was ready to put a windscreen wiper on the bike and helmet!

yes it did seem like last year was very rainy compared to years past. but in a down pour i guess it doent matter what your riding, but i am not one to pull over either. i guess i like punishment. but the nights up here get really cool. and this past winter was brutal, either i ride in the teens or the bike stays parked.

I think the batwing gives better hand protection in the cold ( Monstermile can back that up) with lowers on both and good shield on both I'd say it would be real close, but the edge would go to the shark nose IMHO
