On my 08 Electra Glide I noticed a wire ending in a plug that was hanging below the Voltage Regulator bracket between the downtubes below the front motor mount. There are two wires one is for the CKP Sensor, the other I noticed hanging appeared to be disconnected then I found a clip that it clips to hold it. Looks like it could be a plug that the dealer plugs something into like a test type wire or connector I re clipped it to the nylon clip that is screwed into the bracket anyone have an Idea what this is? I looked in the service and electrical factory manual couldnt find it. THe dealer replaced my clutch cable under warranty so maybe they knocked it off? Bike runs fine all works, anyonre Id appreciate any imput thanks Bill
The parts manual shows the following plugs in the wiring harness.
Voltage regulator
Front oxygen sensor
Jiffy stand switch
Crank position sensor
Oil pressure sensor
Thanks guys but the answer still awaits Im not a mechanic like I said I believe its some kind of plug that the dealer plugs in for diagnostics? On the 08 Classics Ultras, etc Lay down under your bike form the air cleaner side under the voltage regulator bracket below that is the Motor Mount on the motor mount plate underneath is one wire loom ina harness wrap theat I believe is the Sensor that plus into the engine case near the shifter and then another wire that ends in a plug that comes from the air cleaner side to the jiffy stand side and is held in place by a plastic plug so you can disconnect it amnd plug it into something? Duh???? Ill be at the dealers St Pattys Lunch on Sat so Ill get and answer hopefully? RDKINGRDR its not the Battery Tender I know where that Is I installed it! Thanks anyways Thanks Bill

I asked this question a year ago.
Jiffy stand switch.
Used on foreign models.
Rocknrod
Looks like you are correct!! Pg 2-144 of the 2008 Touring Service Manual lists it as "Jiffy Stand Interlock Sensor" and pg 75 Parts Manual lists it as for "International Models Only"
I'm glad I don't have LOL thanks again Bill
