I have dealt with a tech guy at Dynojet named Gerald in the past and he has seemed knowledgeable and helpful. Do you know if you spoke to him? He sounds like an older guy over the phone.
To be honest the guy kind of blew me off before I really had time to react. My bad He sounded like a guy in his 30's and wasn't very friendly and there were a lot of sighs going on. I think he was a bit stressed and felt that my inquiry was more of a distraction than anything else. He kept calling it "Parade Mode" implying that it wasn't really necessary. I was surprised that Fuelmoto sent me directly to Dynojet. I had thought that Fuelmoto had done the programming but maybe that isn't the case.

We will look into this tomorrow and will contact Dynojet as well. Note that our 09 bike has not shown any issues with the EITMS operation but we will look further into this and I assure you that you have my attention in this matter. We have not had any issues, but if there are we are certainly here to help. However, please note that right now this thread is only 2 hours old and we cannot always supply an immediate answer to every situation. To the guy talking about attorneys and lawsuits I will let you know nothing will make me leave this forum faster than threatening us with these terms. I will post when I have more info. Have a great evening.

This has the potential to cause serious harm, in-fact some preemptive letters from Attorneys may get their attention. I would think they could fix the problem easy enough if they really cared, guess we will see.

Also I thought Fuelmoto backed this product no questions asked???

Edited for spelling I suck at it.
Have a little patients on this, Jamie will get to the bottom of it.

EDIT: And there he is now.

Really, this is nothing more than an inconvenience at this point. I just turned mine off until it gets sorted out. I don't see where it is any kind of safety issue since we have control as to whether it's enabled or not. Just disable it for now and give the guys time to work it out. I'm glad to hear that Jamie will get involved. That's a whole lot more positive than the response I got on the phone today. I'm sure with him as an advocate it will get fixed post haste.

Please re-read my post I was not talking about you I was talking about the manufactuer.....I simply stated that I thought you stood behind the product no questions asked.

I have purchased from you in the past and had nothing but good service; however, I AM tired of the end user getting dumped on. So if my ONE comment will push you to leave I guess do what you gotta do!

I figured Jamie would chime in at some point. I would have called, but like I stated earlier, I didn't realize this was a problem.

Mine works just fine. I do have to turn it on each time I ride, and I have done it following the directions in the manual. For some reason or other my EITMS will not stay enabled when I shut off the motor. No big deal as far as that goes as it has become second nature when I start the engine to enable EITMS.

As for stalling when EITMS engages....I did have one episode of this occur and THIS WAS MY FAULT. That's why I never reported this in any of my threads. FYI...if you are running autotune...do not allow input AFR's into the 0% column for your autotune!!!!!! This will cause the PCV to try and autotune the nonfiring cylinder and sounds utrly horrible and will cause the engine to die.

Once I put zero's back in those columns I never had another issue with EITMS not working as advertized.

I suspect...and Jamie could possibly set me straight if I am off base...that if you add or take away fuel (fuel tables not autotune) in the 0% column from 750 to 1250 you should be able to get the EITMS smoothed out if you are having issues. HOWEVER, there should not be any issues with EITMS at all if these columns have zeros in them as it should be operating completely off of the programing inherent inside the ECM at that point.

Jamie this was not a threat against you or your firm. But...I have been a business owner myself for years as well, and I think that you would agree that this type of action is sometimes a necessary evil to get a response.

Please remember you are visiting a public forum where the majority is made up of consumers, so there are gonna be times (like this one) when we get to complain. I think if you do a search you will find that Fuelmoto gets nothing but praise from everyone here including myself.

We are entitled to come here and blow off steam, you shouldn't take it so personal. I'm sure as a consumer you have been pissed about a product, service or company and vented about it as I have.

Have a good night.

OBTW I live in MI and have 0 problems with mine so far as it has not been warm enough, however; I have friends here that have taken their bikes south this winter and have had this issue and have been blown off by the Dealer that installed it and Dynojet, thus the source of my anger on the subject!!!

Talking about preemptive letters to attorneys and you have not even experienced what the OP has experienced yet??? Don't you think that might be a bit premature??? Why don't you just go ahead and ship the product back to Jamie and go with something else as it sounds like you have condemned it based on one issue that may or may not end up being self induced (such as mine) or a result of some other problem.

I'm sure...if there even is an issue...I'm sure there will be a fix or an adjustment the OP will be able to make....and regardless of Dynojets apparhent lack of interest or understanding, that Jamie will see it through.

Give them a chance before threatening them.

How do you know it has not been a problem as I didn't say either way? Just because it has not been posted here does not mean I don't have knowledge on the issue.
