another thing to consider if you want to go this route, get the soos floorboard extender kit. that will move your floorboard out closer to the highway peg so your foot isn't as angled.
I noticed that he has the 360's on his. I just have the 3 pc. engine guard clamps and mine stick out about 2 in. less than his. When I'm propped on my pegs, my feet are angled at about the same angle as when I'm standing. My advice would be to start off with the cheaper stuff because they might suit you fine. HD slotted pegs and clamps are just $80, so that's one thing that would be less than the typical HD(hundred dollars)
I'll get a pic and try to post it this Sat.

I think that is sound advice. That stuff can get really expensive.

Ok, I got a pic. I said that I have the slotted pegs but I don't. They assemble into slots with an allen bolt. I guess you would just call them the HD embossed rubber on chrome. It may look like a large angle but with your legs wrapped around the bike to start with, it's just a slight angle.
I like to position mine so that my heel is resting on the floorboard and my forefoot is supported by the pegs, works out nicely.
Ditto
Get the "360" adjustable highway peg mount and whatever pegs suit you. Set them so they're not too high cuz not comfortable to ride that way. I rest my heel on the footboard and put my toe on the peg most of the time. If I do wanna stretch out my legs then ya i put my boot on the peg and it feels great to stretch like that and on a hot day you get a good breeze right up the pants leg too

actually, they are the long angled. i think the cost was right around msrp $119.00 (less if you order from zanottis). i just used the passenger footpegs since my bike is set up solo.
i had to go this route because the regular clamp type ones do not work for me. my legs are too short, i couldn't reach them. but you at 6'1" probably would not have this problem
+1 on the harley long angles adjustable ones. Gotta get something that will get you around the fairing lowers and still be adjustable enough to move so they are comfortable. Took quite a bit of tweaking on mine to get them perfect-every little move of the mount makes a lot of difference in feel when sitting on the bike. Added the floorboard extensions to move the boards out and I think I finally got it!
I'm one of those riders that move around all over the bike a lot while riding- cyotic nerve problem. I now have 147 riding positions
I just took a set of the 360* mounts off my Ultra. The only problem with them was that they were not compatable with the lowers on the Ultra. (Mounting bolts on the inside.) They are probably the most versatile mounts for anyone without lowers. I replaced them with the short angled mounts which have the clamp bolt on the outside.
The 360*s were only used for a week. They're virtually brand new and need only the addition of the pegs of your choice. They cost $109.95 new. If you're interested in making an offer, PM me. Jeff
I have a set of the 360 adjustable long like new for $65 shipped. Worked great for my dad on his ultra and he is 6ft 1 he tried them on the new road glide but decided to go with something else as the glide hiway bar is out little further.
