Red face Question for Road King Custom owners
I was wondering what you all thought,
Does that chrome wind deflector, seem to direct all the air right into your face? every ride I take without the windshield... I really notice this,
On my older Harley 1969 FLH Dresser (w/o windshield) never seemed I really don't get all the wind and buffeting, never seemed to be an issue....... am I just getting old??

Don't know but it sure looks purty.

J/K. I can't tell any difference. No matter what bike I ride without a windshield, I get a lot of wind in the face. Just sayin'.

Mine was gone when I bought the bike used. Now it has a Dragonfly fairing on it, the only way to go, yea I'm getting old also (64).

I had mine taken off as well when I installed the new bars, but I would not think that little deflector would do much at all as far as wind is concerned.

it sure does! As if it was scientificaly designed to direct the air directly into the operators face. Simple fix is to get rid of it.

Cant divert that much wind, course I say that after I had chili too!

It also deflects bugs and other Chit into your face as well as the wind.

Yeah, its too bad, cause i really like the "look" and it is totally unique to this model of the touring line. all that wind takes away a bit of riding pleasure, I have to wonder what the MOCO was thinking Maybe a detachable fairing is in my future.... But what color??? I'm thinking Black, with pearl yellow accents
