A little disapointed...

I'm getting rust on my 3 month old S&S jack, it still works great but for the amount of money paid for this thing I did not expect to see that so soon. My Sears is several years old and no rust, go figure. I'm not bashing just sharing... and yes I know I could have bought a Pitbull blah blah blah...

If you use it when you wash your bike, I suggest you spray it with WD40. Powder coating is only as good as the person doing it.

Mine hasn't showed any signs of rust in the three years I've owned it. If it eventually does, I'll buy a can of black Krylon and touch it up. I do store it inside BTW.

I would probably spray it with WD40 before I got it wet. But really, I wouldn't use it when hosing down the bike, only to detail. After all it is metal, and metal will rust when it gets wet.
