Need help with radio
I know its not the same problem as having 2 CDs jammed in there but its worth a try before you try more extreme measures.
If is does not work at least you had a little more ridding time in. Good luck with it.
Hey if you don't mind my asking, what make is that trailer in your photo album? Nice rig.
I live up near Nashua,NH so the Dealer is only 60 miles away (NH/ME border).
I friggin LOVE the trailer. I have used it to haul our 2 Dresser's and my buddies
Dyna up to Northen NH and cruised around the whole day up there without
worring about riding home (3 hours) in crappy weather. My Wife also has a
problem with her right arm from an old surgery she had and can't ride for
too long a distance.

I also use the trailer to haul 2 snowmobiles (mine plus my buddies).

Can't believe it has almost been a year since I posted about this
time sure does fly. Well during the whole riding season I just used my
M3 player back feed throught the radio. It worked well but the tunes
directly from a CD ripped with the MP3's does play better.
I just didn't want to take out my radio and have down time without
my bike. I will admit I was sorta afraid to pull the radio by myself
even tho I have had the fairing off plenty of times between my old
dresser & my Wife's. After talking to Pez on the phone when this
1st happen and he said if I had a problem just to call and he would
walk me throught it. So I got the courage to do it last weekend since
riding season has not started yet here in New England. I was SHOCKED
at how easy it was to do. Cut some tie wraps move some wire looms
and disconnect some plugs from radio and then it was 4 easy to get
at screws. It then slid out towards the front of the bike. It took a
total of maybe 1 hour. It was Saturday so I called Iron Cross Audio
and told them what happen and they told me it would cost $165
(including shipping) for them to repair/relace the CD changer and
do all their Updates & Mod's. I boxed it up and shipped it out Monday.
They got it Wednesday at 3pm and by 10:30am on Thursday I got
the call they were done and it was on its way back to me. It was
delivered by UPS today (Friday). Talk about great service & turn
around time. Can't wait to reinstall and sit in the garage and play
the radio waiting for the snow to melt .... LOL ....
