Can't believe it happen.
I thought there was no CD in the radio (stock HD) on my 07 Ultra.
So I went and put another one in and it went.
Then I remembered I never took out the one from my previous ride.
Now the CD player does not work and it won't kick either of the two out.
What is the best way to get them out ?
Or is there even a way to do it ?
I have taken the outer fairing off enough time that it is not a problem.
Kinda hesitant about taking the radio out BUT I see enough people here
painting their inner fairings that I am hope'ing that the radio comes out
easy. I am guessing that is what I have to do and can you take an outer
plate off and get them out ? Or am I Fu#ked ?
Or should I say fu#k it because it is a waste of time and just run my
MP3 player like I use to do on my 1998 Classic ?
Thanks in advance for ANY help !
What a way to ruin a ride BUT we still went anyway :-(

Just tried your idea and it won't work.
Can't see past the cloth material to see inside.
It is tring to eject but because both are there it can't.
Tried to grab with small long needle nose pliers but again
I can't see so I don't know what I am grabing.

That sucks, nothing to suggest but surely that should never happen!! I am assuming it is a HK system. I must say I am amazed at the complaints I see about the HK system. I have a surround sound system in my house and the sound is awesome, and in Europe they are regarded as a real quality hifi manufacturer. I was delighted when I saw the system was HK but now I am beginning to wonder. Maybe they should have stuck to hifi systems??

Just curious, how can you blame HK when the fellow jammed a second CD on top of the first. Doesn't sound like the radio's fault to me.
I'd probably remove the radio and take the case off and see if you can get to the CD that way.
If you can take off the Fairing then taking out the radio is easy but lots easier if you get Ball End Allen T wrench. Any radio fix it shop should be able to get them out.
Definatly not HK fault !
It was the nut behind the bars .... LOL ...
I pressed the EJECT button and nothing came out but I should have waited longer.
I should have remembered there is a slight hesatition with the radio when first starting
the bike. But I don't know why it took the 2nd CD and that is the puzzle. I don't
know how (mechanically) a CD player works.
db2753 ...
Ya taking off the fairing is easy (done it dozens of times).
Problem is the CD opening is too small and it got some type of
material that dusts off the CD as you put it in. This makes it so
you can't see inside.
Rob ....
I've had luck on other brands sliding a knife blade in and prying up while hitting the eject button. You are fishing in the dark in there but maybe you'll get lucky. My 2 cents. Good luck!
has the thought crossed your mind to ride to ultimate electronics or best buy, or another car stereo install place? they are the true goo roos with that sort of stuff, and might even just do it to help you out. heck, even if it costs ya twenty bux or so, then it beats tearing up your stereo. just my two nickles. good luck.
