Default Picture Request - Arc install w/HD XM Module.

I am waiting "paitiently" for my XM module and I am going to be installing it with the ARC mini amp and looking for a rough idea of placement. Obviously I will figure it out when it gets here but at least some pics will keep me occupied until I tear it apart. Thanks in advance.

Mike you got to let me know if your reception is good. I had one on an older bike with the small ant and it was always in and out.

Mike I have both installed on my Street Glide. Unfortunately I did not take pictures but here is what I had to do. I installed the ARC amp on top of the stereo so I had easy access to the adjustments. There was not enough room on top for both the XM module and the amp so I moved the amp underneath the stereo and mounted it with industrial velcro and wire ties. It was very snug. I had no other installs to refer to so There may be a better way but this is how I did it. If you find a better method please let me know and when I get the energy to yank my fairing off again I will re do my install.

As far as reception it is very good. I get some drop outs in certain areas but they are the same areas that I lose reception in my car so I htink it is an overall XM issue not the module.

Hope this helps.

I thought people were saying there was no room under the radio w/ the 2009.
