i used a liquid clay bar
then zumol wax
then klasse glaze and well they are gone ... hidden but gone. i use capt richards bike wash to wipe down but always with a micro. always soak bugs first. unless it wipes off easy keep soaking

I use 3M Imperial Hand Glaze followed by a coat of One Grand Blitz Carnuba Wax.
The Hand Glaze fills minor surface scratches and swirls. They also have a 3M machine glaze but for the amount of area that needs attention on a bike you can do it by hand. The Blitz wax is just a wax not a wax/cleaner.
Been using this combo for years with excellent results.
