Apendejo: I do check the shields for a sharp edge but with the protective paper on it, sometimes I can not feel it. I will pay closer attention.
FFeric: The Fast Aire shield is shaped differently than others, its my design and most seem to like the way it works. The biggest difference is that my shields are shipped flat & curved when installed. The shield will eventuall keep some of the curved shape. Its not an issue, just a different way of doing it.
For those that have my shields... I need new pictures for my Customers Bikes pages. If you have a really nice picture, like an outdoor or traveling or rally type picture, send me a few shots but no garage or normal pics.... show off your ride !

Hey guys, I am about ready to order a Fastaire shield for my 2008 Street Glide. I am about 5'10" maybe 5'11", all I know is the stock shield is useless. Do you think the 8" or 9" would be better for me ? Also, how is the medium tint at night to see through ? I am out in the country, not many street lights around my neck of the woods. I have heard alot of good things about Jim and his products, looking forward to getting mine soon...
Thanks for your help....

go to the fastaire web site, read the how to choose section. I'm 5 10 also but that doesn't mean our eyes are in the same spot. Know what i mean? and i prefer to look over my shield and not through it. Have to order by what you need.
I have the fastaire 8" medium gray tint. Great shield and great company for customer service. I,m thinking about a 10" clear for those long hauls as the 8" hits the OL right in the face....

What do you recommend for someone that is 5'7" and what is the closet color to the stock windshield that you have? I'm ready to place my order, so I will be looking forward to your reply.
