I am only 115lbs and need to run them at 25psi. They work fairly well but you will notice the reduced travel. I guess that is a tradeoff I have to live with being only 5'3".

Great shocks...Bought the shocks from them reduced 1 1/2"....I use 40 PSI on a 08 ultra while riding solo or 2 up...Weight 210 solo and 350 (2up) Plus lots of luggage on trips. No problems or regrets. Highly recommended .... I still have the stock shocks but will not put them back on. RIDE SAFE!!!
PS...I have used the low profile shocks from HD in the past and these shocks are much better ride.

Different question(s): So, when you lower the backend, say 1-1/2", does the bike look dropped or angled? Or is it not noticeable?

And what would you have to do to the front to keep it dropped but leveled out?

Through further research I can answer my own question.

Progressive sells springs for the front shocks that can lower the bike also. Some have said that to get the full benefit of better rear shocks that the fronts should be of equal quality or you're just half-assing it. Doing both will lower the bike but keep it looking like stock (horizontally).

So - Progressive rear shocks, say, -1-1/2" to lower rear, and

Progressive springs in the front forks to lower the front (don't know the particulars about this option).

nice glide joke. lowering both also keeps the trail correct. i'm sold on bb and sending stock king shocks in to take them down 1.5. probably go with progressive drop ins for the front. btw, did you go with both progressives for the front and rear? what do you think of em?

I like my 11" Bitchin Bagger Shocks , little stiffer ride, not buy much .
Dosn't bottom out any more than the 13" stock shocks .
Bikeseems to handle better in sweeping turns.
