Hey guys/gals, I am looking to see who had their stock shocks done by Bitchin Baggers. I'm looking at 1.5" drop. What can I expect for ride quality, and will it hamper 2 up riding? Wife and I are about 325 bills combined, plus leathers, bags loaded and tour bag on back.
My experience with Bitchen Baggers has been a good one over all. All of my riding has been solo though. I have the 10 3/4 length shocks. The ride quality has been good over all. The ride quality is much better than the progressive 412's I had on there and the damping qualities are much better. As far as two up riding I'd be careful with reducing your ground clearance to much. You can adjust the ride but the ground clearance doesn't come back. I am happy with my shocks and would recommend the service for sure.
I have the H-D lowering shocks on now, just thougt maybe the 1/2 inch lower may be nice (short legs)
Looking at there web site the 1.5 inch drop is still good for 2 up and luggage
Drop Eye to Eye Length Travel Recommendation Stock 12.75 2.75 1.0" 11.75 2.50 for 2up w/tour pac/trailer 1.5" 11.25 2.00 for 2up w/tour pac 2.0" 10.75 1.50 for 1up, occasional 2up 2.5" 10.25 1.00 Bar hopping or show
Hoping to find someone with experience on the 1.5 drop and riding 2 up. Thanks for the info.
Just a question, what would 1.5" drop be for a stock RKC eye to eye? I have the profile lowering shocks on now, the drop will be from stock shocks. Would it be much difference from what I'm running?

should be .5" shorter than what you have now. side point, does anyone know if they have stock to ship out a set with a core charge, then credit the core back when i send mine in? with the weather being so nice here lately i have a hard time taking the bike out of service for 1-2 weeks.
