Wow, at that price it must not be in (160-80-16} I checked DK online and their price is $157.00
Is there any reason at all, that I should NOT use a Dunlop E-3 160-80-16 ?? on a 2005 RK Custom I am about ready to order..... and is there any thing else to order,

I've had the E3's on for about 3500 miles now, and I'm never going back to the OEM's or Metz's. The ride quality is superior and the handling is head and shoulders above the others. Minor things like road imperfections, road seams, grooves, etc. become irrelevant. Major things like rain, curves, stopping power, etc. all far more manageable. So, for me, there is no other option ... Hope you, too, enjoy the upgrade.
What type of rim do you have? Laced wheels will need new tubes and rim strips, cast or any type of "tubeless" rim will need valve stems but those may be available at tire shop. Tube type could be installed yourself, not sure about tubeless as you need a bit more of an air surge to seat the beads. Can't check my tires right this minute but I have Elite 3's on a 2007 Ultra, believe rears were a 90/16, and paid about $210 delivered for the set from Dennis Kirk.
They are CAST, stock wheels the current (original) rear tire is a Dunlop 402-MU85=16 It is said to be a "140" the E-3's appear to be narrower than the numeric size would indicate
and I want to go as wide as possible and also keep the height low profile.
That is why I'm looking at E-3 160-80-16 size
from what Ive heard on here, it's a no-brainer that the "Elite-3 tire series....handles better rides smoother and last longer than the OEM Dunlop 402 series!!
I just dont want to get a new tire that is narrower and taller

Here is a link to RonAyers who I purchased my E3 from. These are the Bias ply, and really a direct replacement for the OEMs.
MT90B16 Front
MU90B16 Rear
I have been running these from almost 8K miles now and they dont show much wear at all.
Actually, the 2 bikes I've known to go with E3's they have been wider than what they should be. I just had them mounted on my RG for this season's trips, can't wait to try them. Had the Metzelers last year
