I consulted Miss Manners and she says: "Tell the whiner you snooze - you loose, coulda-woulda-shoulda. There's no holdsies without putting up some green".
And she's right.
So send him the pictures, that is ALL you promised and all HE promised was to look at them. I've missed some because I hesitated and the only one to be "pissed" at is ME!!!! I don't mean to offend or flame anyone, but it is an on-line swap meet isn't it. You set it down, it is fair game.
If he had asked you to hold it for me pending some more pix (and you agreed) then I could understand him getting upset - but assuming you didn't promise to hold the items for him then I don't think you did anything wrong. "You snooze, you lose"...
You did nothing wrong. The first person to commit has the item - if he starts to lag on payment without you agreeing to a this or that delay then start talking to the next guy in line. If you have a 2nd person after that who also wanted it I tell them if this first deal falls through then you're up and it's yours at that point.
I always try to work with a person and I've never had a problem in our classifies here. I've had pleasant experiences with everyone with whom I've bought or sold. Anymore I prefer PayPal as far as payments - anyone ever had a bad time with PayPal? It seems like the safest thing aside from cash hand to hand.
