I asked you about selling your mufflers before you even posted them in the classifieds, as I noticed you talking about changing them out in a post you made. We exchange pm's about them and I finally ask for pics. 4 days later you send me a postage stamp size pic of the mufflers. Same day that I check my email you have the mufflers listed in the classifieds and sold to someone else... The same day you send me a pic you listed them here?? IMHO you suck as a seller and I wouldn't buy a damn thing from you ever.

Turned out great for me as I got the same pipes off Ebay for less cash then you wanted anyway.
Well as I stated, I didn't want to get into a pi$$ing contest and I had not mentioned any names, but seeing as you have brought this out, you contacted me on the 2nd about me selling my mufflers, on the 4th you made a statement about the shipping being too much ( East coast to West Coast)....then you asked for picture, I send them, you're not happy with the size of the picture, then you shoot me a price below what I'm asking and want me to include shipping ( the too much shipping for you!) I say let me clean them up, might be a little gold color on inlet ( turns out there was not) the last Como I have with you is on the 4th.....I listed them for sale on the 9th...5 day later....
Same Day????? might check your PM's...I did.

Both had the same info. It was enough for person B while the person A wanted more info. Plus there is no guarantee that once you provided additional photos that person A would buy the stuff anyhow. Like the song says "Go on take the money and run"

Casper, I was waiting for your pics. And you sent the pics to me in your email on the 9th, same day you posted your stuff in the classifieds. I have an email here dated the 9th. Last time you pm'ed me was on the 4th and you said you were going to send me some pics, I just checked my pm's.

So if you sent pics on the 4th they were not sent to me. Once you gave me your shipping quote I never asked you for a better price on shipping and you never said anything to me about cleaning up the mufflers.

Maybe you are confusing me with someone else you were dealing with??

Ok, guys. I'm sure the seller didn't post the pipes for sale with the intent of messing with a potential buyer. Hardly any of us are professional Marketeers and will miss a beat on selling stuff. That's just the nature of selling stuff. There will always be another one in the classifieds sooner or later.

I have been in the same position and I am now in that position NOW !!! People ask for pictures, and more info all the time with no intentions of buying..... I sell stuff for less than half of what its worth for a "fast sale" not to wait forever. One with the money first wins.

OK, enough is enough.....let's stop this thread before someone says something that can't be taken back....
As another stated, we're not professional sellers, just trying to clean out garages or pass some savings on to others....items we no longer need or were going to use...don't want to mess up a good thing ( the classified board).

I'm sorry if I offended anyone, was not my intentions....maybe I'll just put things on ebay and let them go to the highest bidder.....simple solution.

Be safe all.
