JonnyD, did you change out the handle bars on your RK? IMO, your road king looks alot better than the Deluxe.... I love both bikes though.

I AM GOING TO PICK UP MY NEW ROAD KING THIS EVENING FROM THE DEALER!!!!!!!!!!

THEY JUST GOT IN A BLACK PEACE OFFICERS SPECIAL EDITION ROAD KING LAST NIGHT... PLUS I GET 1000.00 OFF THE PRICE!!!! WHAT A DEAL.
Cool, glad you're happy. Yeah I did the RK chrome high bars. Just have them install them before you leave, you will hate the stock bars. Unless, does yours come with the heritage style since it's a cop bike? If so, you may be ok with them.

I still liked the fit of the Deluxe, it was like sitting in a glove made for my azz!

Congrats on your newborn

Just to give a little update, I went by the dealer and talked over my plans with one of the parts sales people. He said that since I have no plans on getting any engine work (cams, heads....) I would be fine with the stage 1 download on the bike. He also told me since Harley redesigned the exhaust on the Road King for 09 to a 2-1-2 setup It would be fine to use the stock headers and get a good slip on muffler for the bike along with the heavy breather. This is my first Harley so I am not educated enough to know the pros and cons of this. I am looking for a classic loud harley exhaust note. I would be happy with 5-10 extra HP out of this setup. I want the bike more for reliability and longevity than HP. Thanks very much for your info.

I have been very busy at work this week, but first chance I get I will post some pics. Thanks

WOW! that looks like a great deal. With that setup, I would save money and not have to worry about a dyno tune. Plus, I really want to do alot of the work on this bike myself, so that is good too.

Is anyone running this setup? What is your experience and opinion on it?

Could I had a Screaming eagle heavy breather to this?

Thanks keltonkrew for the info.

I have my money together for the Fuel Moto setup. I'm just waiting to get the first service done on the bike, before I install anything (1000 miles). I really like the look of the heavy breather and I am sure Fuel Moto offers a map for this intake to go along with the PC V and Jack Pot mufflers.

Just wondering if anyone else is using this setup? I understand Fuel Moto puts alot of time in there dynoing of the performance package they offer for my bike. I dont' want to loose any power or benefits of this package by adding a heavy breather, just for looks.

Oh, one last thing. I have watched and listened to every video and audio clip I could find of the Jackpot Mufflers. It's hard to get a good idea of how they sound online. How much louder are they over stock. My 09 stock exhaust has a decent tone, but I would prefer it to be louder.

Thanks very much. Luke

The Jackpot mufflers sound pretty neighbor friendly when idling and aren't tiring on the highway, but when you crack the throttle they are much louder than stock.

Default Fuel moto

VERY happy fuelmoto customer here, did mine right after I had 1000 miles on it, along with my own service for the 1,000 mile check up. If you want to do your own work, you will need to buy a lift ($100?) to help out, some tools like 1 3/8 wrench for my 08 belt adjustment. Yours may be different, I haven't checked the 09s. I bought a shop manual, and the right fluids for service and did it all myself. No big deal, and if you document all your work, at least here in Minnesota they have to honor the warranty unless they can prove you did something wrong. They can't just void a warranty for any reason. It has to be related to something you did, from what I understand.

according to the entire HD service department, you have to do the Stage 1 with ANY new exhaust, including Screamin Eagles

Thanks again for the info. I am really looking forward to putting these mods on the bike.

I will call fuelmoto on using the heavy breather along with the PC V and Jackpots. I wouldn't think there would be any difference in power, maybe even a little more..... Thanks
