Exactly.....

Plus one.
I used to be one of those guys that would go back and give a piece of my mind or my foot. (Legend in my own mind!) Had a physical altercation over a similar situation. The next week in almost the same location 2 guys got in a traffic altercation, one was shot dead. I decided then to just let obnoxious drivers go by as soon as possible and enjoy my day.

I hate tailgaters. The most I ever do, though, is turn my head and give them the stink eye. That usually backs them off, because I believe they are just being inattentive, not aggressive. However, I did have one person in a PT Cruiser last week that backed off when I gave them The Stare (Pat. Pend.) but then passed me IN MY LANE when traffic slowed down again.

Be careful, there are some real nuts cases out there. Tailgaters make my blood boil.

Now that I'm not as young as I once was, I'd better put a lid on my temper cause I might have done the same thing and that just isn't the smart thing.

+1 on your method. Then it just happens to start up and leave as the light is turning red if they didn't go around.

Yeah man you got to let that chit go. It aint like the good ol days when a disagreement turns into a fight some punches are thrown and win or loose it's just throwing hands. Now you got to worry being shot or stabbed or rundown or whatever.
But at least your being a man about it. If it's your issue to deal with then you're dealing with it instead of tossing pennies, marbles, bolts, nuts, or bb's (you guys are serious) with no concern that your fellow biker may stop and put his/her foot down on one of those. Nothing like a good ol bolt through a tire to totally mess up a days ride.

Yeah there is nothing more manly than tossing something at another moving vehicle and then speeding off. i think I did that with eggs when I was like 10.

I just shake my head when I get tailgatted, usually (as much a jersey drivers suck) the driver sees me shake my head and realizes and backs off a little. if they don't then i turn off the road. I haven't had a problem yet.
I also hear the handfull of nutss and bolts trick works too. lol

How childish.

You are on a bike. Accelerate, manoever, turn. Don't sweat the small stuff.

Thumbs up SUV riding your butt

As a young man i fought often and found my self likeing it more and more. So I fought more and more. I am sitting here wondering now exactly what it was that i got out of it. The mre I thought the more I realized how lucky I was that I survived that period of my life. I would never ever do it again, not for anything I would make an exception perhaps for my wife and my two children and my girlfiend but i would put a limit on the wife.
