I have a 2000 ultra classic, just had 6x9 and a amp added to my bags,
had them in stalled by a shop that has done hundreds, Problem is
while riding with the radio on,the bike will shut down and blow the fuse to my radio, I will turn the key off, wait a couple of secounds and restart my bike, the engine runs fine but the radio wont work, they ran all the wires under the fuel tank, I have checked pretty much everything, but pull the tank off and check for a pinched wire, any thoughts,
Um, ride back to where the stuff was installed and make them fix it?!
I wouldn't have even looked for the issue myself...you paid them to do a job, and they didn't do it right.
+1 on this! they should have a warranty on their work. Let them recede into the system and find the issue! Don't go playing with their work...cause if you do...they can say you caused the issue in the first place!
I did take it back to them, they checked all there work, no problem found with what they installed. I think there is a wire or something wrong under the tank .

Well, if it worked fine before and now it blows fuses after they did any kind of electrical work on it, it's hard to see how it couldn't be something they did. What do they suggest is wrong? Anything? If they've done that many installs they must be pretty familiar with the wire harness in general.
Keep banging on their ears, man. They need to make this right for you. Or tell them to uninstall it, get yer money back, and go to someone else. And if they won't stand behind their work, post who it was so the rest of us can avoid them.
