Default Bagger Brace...My $0.02

Finally got a chance to install my bagger brace yesterday, and figured i'd give everyone my opinion of it. As has been stated time and time again here, this item is machined PERFECTLY! Its so tight fitting, you really have to make sure everything is in line or it simply won't fit. I had to finesse one of the stays on the unit due to cross member clearance, but not much. Installation took about an hour, perhaps slightly more, some of that may have been due to the weather knocking out the power in the shop. Did the install via mini-Maglite, and it was still not difficult at all. As for my riding impressions:
It sure does give the feel of much more stability in the rear end of the bike. I had limited highway time to test out the curves under power, but from what i could feel the handling was improved. The biggest improvement i felt was from cross winds. With the weather moving through the area, and winds gusting to about 40 miles/hour, i could feel a DEFINATE difference in stability. I will be leaving for DC in a few weeks for the memorial weekend festivities, which always includes some back road twisties, as well as some 80+ mph freeway time coming through the mountains, so i'm sure i will be able to expand my critique at that point. Until then, everyone ride safe and keep the shiny side up!

Yup.........I have to agree.

I installed mine last November, then it started snowing. So now that spring is here, I've been able to get about 500+ miles on the bike with the Bagger Brace installed. My over all impression is that the bike feels much more stable and solid. When doing long sweeping curves at 80mph, it now no longer wiggles in the a$$ end like it used to.

Best place to buy it is from the manufacturer - www.bitchinbaggers.com = $289

Does the brace cause any problems with lowered bikes?
