I noticed everyone talking about the height of the windshield, I am 5'7" and picked up a 16" CB from a forum member. I do not have any problems seeing over the shield, in fact it is about 1"-2" lower than the stock shield (the stock shield was at eye level when going over hills).

This height shield works very well for even the vertically impaired riders The wife said she had less turbulence as well and she could actually hear the radio.

If I raise my hand I can feel the majority of wind hitting the very top of the helmet. There is still some wind in my face but not a direct stream.

I just installed the shield this week and have not taken any current photos, but I doubt anyone could tell the height just by looking at it (and it does look sharp).

Appreciate the information you all are providing here reference RG windshields. I recently purchased an '06 RG in near new condition with stock 16" windshield and stock seat. Way too much wind in the face at highway speeds to be comfortable on long rides. I am 5'11". Sounds like the Cee Baileys euro is the best option for replacement? Does it perform better than the Klock Werks or other brands in terms of reducing air turbulence between driver and windshield? Thank you.

What size is your shield? 14 inches?

This shield has a totally different feel than any of the other shields that I have had on the bike. The wife says that she likes it way better than the stock shield,(2004 ) I think it was 14" then I put the tall HD shield and that didn't work for me (split vision) then the Klock Werks 8" ( I loved it, but the wind beat her around too much) now the Cee Balieys Euro. It just seems to fit both of us extremely well.. It may not work for everyone (different heights) but to me it's way better than anything I've seen up to now.
