I know exhuast is a endless topic!! But is there anyone run a LSR 2-1 ? I have a 07 FLHX ,needing to change pipes ... I have heard the Boarzilla <wow> nice pipe.
But heard LSR is the closest to the D+D. Any sound bites of a LSR ?
I always read about RB Racings bad attitude, I filled out the order form online, sent a credit card number, 3 weeks later my exhaust was at my door. Absolutely no problems, the workmanship is excellent, you can tell they are hand made one at a time, all of the mounting brackets, billitt exhaust gaskets, nuts bolts everything was a perfect fit. Now the downside (if you want to call it down) The exhaust is loud, I got the model that exits mid-way of the saddlebag with 45 degree turnout. It will out perform the "Fat Cat" as far as HP and TQ. numbers. To each his own, my second choice was the D & D.
I've looked at their (LSR) exhaust, but can't get past the attitude on their website. They may be great people, but the way their website makes them come across doesn't make me want to do business with them.
I ordered one set with the Titanium finish to match my bike and it was GREAT! I just LOVE the sound, kind of a nasty snarl and a nice bark when you hit the throttle, and the fit was perfect. A very noticeable improvement in performance too! I ordered two more sets, both in Black to match the bikes they were going on and again I got just what I wanted and it was delivered just as expected. I am helping a good friend of mine get a set for his bike too! He is tired of me blowing by him when we go riding and wants to be more competitive and he like the sound of my bike as well. Good luck with your choice, whatever it is, and ride safe.
Thanks to everyone that replyed .. Sounds like I could go either way I need something , GF just bought the Phantom pipe for her bagger. Its sick........
I was going to get an LSR for my Sportster until I talked to them, they are quit arrogant and didn't really care what I wanted or how long it was going to take to get a pipe.
I've also read about some real horror stories about dealing with that bunch, glad I didn't buy from them.
I do have a FatCat on my RK and it works great, I'd be careful with the Borzilla unless you have a real monster as it's built for really big bore all out builds.
