And the "A" means it's been updated - Once. Probably the paint.
Still can't figure how one rides with the stock 4" shorty shield on a Street Glide.
Holy Jesus - I put mine on last week just for kicks - 30MPH and my brain was rattling around inside my skull so bad that I couldn't read the plate on the car in front of me.
Sidenote: My 9.5" recurve shield *and* my T-Bags shield bag arrive Thursday. Can't wait to get it on the highway and see if this (EIGHTH!!!) windshield is the ticket...
Going to install mine today!! I sure hope it helps Unless you have ever experienced Buffeting, you have no idea how frustrating it can be. Those of us with it will try just about any cure to fix the problem. Windshields are difficult to recommend as a cure, we are all different heights, have different seat set ups, and have different riding postures. With that said 1 common theme is taller shields are better, other common fixes are, as mentioned the between the forks baffle, and the other common item fix are the fairing mounted air defectors, I have these on order as well. I've been looking thru my windshield for over 30 years with no problems trying to see the road. I just use a rain repellent and it all just slides off the windshield. Nothing different than a faceshield or goggles! I also have ZERO wind buffeting since with my short *** the wind and rain goes right over my head!
When will riders quit worrying about form over function and then just because it looks good they then start whining about problems with wind buffeting I will never know.
I stand corrected I have the 9"halfmoon not the clearview I don't know what I was thinking!!! It's been a long day!! But interesting on the fork lower!!
I was wondering.
I have the fork baffle and a 8" recurve and have no issues.
Of course I realize I am riding a MOTORCYCLE.
