I just opened the box that my HD Fairing Mirrors were in and it was missing the template.
Does anyone have the template laying around that can mail it to me. I will pay postage and your time.
Thanks for any help.
(btw, I called the dealer and they were out of stock of the mirrors, so they said as soon as they got a box in, they would send me the template, but I was hoping for a quicker installation)
I'm pretty sure I have one at home. I can scan it and email it to you, you could print it out and cut it from the print to use it. I unfortunately wouldn't be able to scan it until I'm back at work Monday. Send me a PM Sunday if you haven't gotten one by then and I'll bring it to work with me on Monday.
If you would like them mirrors to be in a better position move them between 1/4 and 1/2 inch up and out from the original template, will give you much better view behind ya. I moved mine 1/4" and work fine have heard of some folks moving them 1/2" without any problems, so it's up to you.
Hey Joe, I got the fax. Thanks. All I need is the measurements of the
template, so I can make sure that the fax is the same size as the original template. (if that makes sense?)
Measure from the tip opposite the two holes that you drill, to each of the holes. Then I can measure the fax and make sure it's the same.... or at least very close.
