Couple tubes of BLUE Loctite, at least one tube of RED Loctite, good tap and die set and/ or thread restorers.... NOT harbor freight for these.
Every single threaded fastener needs either red or most likely blue loctite on a bike. Pretty much without exception. AND, if one removes a fastener that has HAD loctite on it, that needs to be removed so that proper torque value can be achieved.

Dayum, forgot about that one. A small set of snap ring pliers and a big one if you're messing with that gi-normous retaining ring in the tranny side cover. Or a set with changeable tips.
