Will this amp fit in the fairng?
I already have a 9 5/8 x 10.25 x 2.1 kicker 100.2 installed. It was tight, I really would like the power and the options of expansion. ( By the way this kicker amp sucks). Way too much distorsion. Probably good for a car but not a bike.
Specs for hd600 below
Thanks in advance

I have this amp on my bike. Will not fit in the fairing. The biggest one I got to fit was the arc mini 125.4. just so you know also the hd600.4 depends on voltage so if your bike ever gets under 9 volts it might not play at its best you know like parking lot venues. But so far it pushes the hell out of my system. loud clear and ready to roll. The only suck thing is the amp retails at an authorized dealer for 849.99! But it looks sick right!
Yeah the slash series is way more affordable than that hd series amp. I use to use the slash 300/4 in my other bike setups but i love the size of this hd one it leaves a decent amount of space in the bag still! I been using jl for 11 years strong and absolutly love them!

Yeah, I ran a few slash series in my day. They are very strong performers that is for sure. But, I upped the ante back then and started using Zapco because of their symbilink (balanced) lines. With Zapco came even more of an ante with other expensive audiophile products I had to have. LOL
I still use Zapco to this day (except for in the Harley). Now, if Zapco made a little amp to fit in the fairing...that would be ****!!!!
Zapco is some good sh** I use to use it too back in the late 90's. Yeah for that hd amp I ran 8 gauge ..on a run shorter than 72 inches you can use the 8 gauge well thats what jl recomends and 50 amp fuse min. Thing main thing with this amp is the voltage it cant go below 11 volts. jl recomends between 11-14.5v for optimum output. Still an awsome amp but very high $$ But like I said so far its performing awsome!=)

Cool. I'm sure the HD line are great amps too. I just did not want to put an amp in one of my bags. I use them too much...way too much.
I'm cool with the lil Mini in the fairing. Maybe if I decide to put some lowers on I'll squeeze a Mini 4ch in there. But, I'm content with it (for being a system on a motorcycle).
