Default Seat

I'm in the process of buying a new seat for my 09 FLHX. I've narrowed it down to the Danny Gray, The Mustang Day Tripper, and the C & C Fastback. I'm about 5'7 and would like to be a little lower to the ground, no that important but I think it would give me a bit more confidence. I just wanted to get your opinion on the comfort, quality, and positioning of these seat from those of you that have experience with them.

I am in the same boat sort of. I am building a custom bagger and want the seat to be as low as possible. Narrowed it down to Danny Gray or C&C. I have to order whatever I get, sure would be nice to sit on one before I order it though. Let me know what you decide on.

Thanks
Bill

Take a look at the Screamin eagle seat that comes on the 09' SERG. I have one on my SG, its lower, more seat room and more comfortable. They are available from HD for list of $350.

If you want it low buy the HD Brawler. It is pretty hard though. Looks awesome.

I have a Danny Grey Bigseat and a C & C Sport Tour for my 07. C & C sits me lower and further back. Bigseat looks better, it's also hard as a rock.

A friend got the solo DayTripper for his FLHX and swears by it. Says it's just as comfortable as the Vintage.

I saw that the Mustang day tripper is a bit more narrow that the C & C, I wonder if that would help keep the legs lower?

Thumbs up seats

I've had several seats on my '08 FLHX. I have ended up with a Danny Gray 2up. I REALLY like this seat. AS mentioned, it is a firm seat, although it doesn't bother me to be on it all day. I've had a corbin. badlander, brawler(which I still have, for some reason), and a custom seat by a local guy in california. The Danny Gray feels better to me after an all day trip , than any others mentioned. JMO
