Lowering an 09 E Glide?

Lowering an 09 E Glide?
My other half just got an 09 'Glide and is vertically challenged. He tried the reach seat (which is now for sale) and really needs to get this bike lower somehow. Our Indy told him he'll lose the ride of the 'Glide if he lowers it via shorter shocks which he really doesn't want to do. Are there any other alternatives? And does anyone know if the Sundowner deep bucket seat will drop him an inch like it does on my RK?

I have a set of 09 SG shocks I replaced with Ohlins. I will sell them if your interested. 50% of the HD dealer catalogue price. They need the air tube re-installed because I had to remove it to take the shocks off. They have about 700 miles on them. Mark
