Hog Tunes tweeter/speakers install
Dear Pez
Just wanted you to know how pleased I am with the Speaker and Tweeter Pod set up that I installed on my 08 Electra Glide Classic. If you remeber, I E mailed you about winning the Tweeter set up and speakers at the HD dealers Open House. I originally made an appointment to have the dealer install em at the cost of $85 hr labor he said maybe 2 hours!! I read the posts here on installation by Forum Member "GASCAN" and decided to do it myself. It was a breeze and took me about 1hr as I was being real careful, Ill bet if I had to install this set up again on someones bike I could do it in 1/2 hr, and done right!! Only thing that scares me is the fact that if you arent careful the MOCOs' brass threaded inserts in the fairing could be crossthreaded and stripped the top 2 on the left and right side can be replaced easily if needed, the lower ones are just cheesy brass inserts in plastic mounts they scare the sh## out of me!! In fact Im thinking of putting in a hidden antenna but because of this I may wimp out and leave well enough alone!!
My initall impression of the speakers in the garage were so so. After riding the bike I can really tell the difference so much louder, cleaner and clearer. Everyone should do the upgrade money well spent, do it your self please!!!! Get rid of those cheap cones the MOCO calls speakers what garbage speakers !!! Ride Safe Bill

I agree sound is awesome. I have the 3 way for the freeway set up with the tweeter pod excellent sound. Now if Pez can come up with a kicker box that won't take up to much space Like under the touring pack by the seat bolt it would be complete. what do you say Pez up for the challenge.
