I installed a set of boom speakers in my scoot and wow..... It's so easy even a cave man can do it.. It took about a half hour and they were in and it's a much better setup than the stock $hit that comes in there. I feel that for the money you can't go wrong, they are much clearer and a lot louder than what I had... I know there is many other choices on the market but I am not willing to spend upwards of $1K to get louder and music without distortion.
Agree with you guy's. Installed the H-D Boom speakers on my 09 Street Glide as well. Just wanted a little better sound without having to spend a bundle. These speakers fit the bill just right. Been on a few long distance runs with them hooked up to my mp3 player and no complaints.
Well you talked me into it. I have been looking for a reason to buy them. I went up to the dealership this morning and got both sets for my 2011 Road Glide Ultra, they cost me a total of $221.00 ......Now I just have to figure out how to get this fairing off..... Yikes.

I see the 3 bag windshield pouch. What windshield you got on there?

you'll have to sign up for a free account, but there is 2 videos in there, one on fairing removal and one on installation. taking it off is easy, it's putting it back on that is a pita the first couple of times. its easier to put back in if you take the headlight assy out.
also, as long as you're in there, check to see if your radio brackets are wearing any grooves on the underside of your fairing.
While they are better than stock, I am not completely satisfied with the boom speakers. I'll be looking to do some 6 1/2" inch speakers and an amp after this next deployment.
