I do know who Drag Specialties is. I also know that if my Avon tire that I bought from Dennis Kirk, with Drag Specialties sticker all over it will be Avon's problem if the tread separates in 500 miles. Not DK or Drag.

My understanding of the original post is that this particular item was a Drag Specialties branded item. If in fact these were another brand then, yes I agree not Drags problem. If the brand can't be determined, then I guess Drag becomes the ***** selling Chinese crap!!

Unfortunately there are a lot of crap items on the accessory market. They all look good on the internet or catalog. If you happen to buy one of these items, your stuck.. If you're lucky you get store credit, where you purchased the item.

Corporate America has this bad habit of telling their customers "This is our Policy."

I guess us uneducated folk need to learn from you experts and bury our head in the sand. We're screwing up the whole system.

First you should find out who Drag Specialties is. Second your defective Avon Tire will be serviced first from Dennis Kirk who in turn will go back to the wholesaler they bought it from in this case Drag. Who in turn will go back to Avon.

Drag is a "WHOLESALER".

Your next problem will be since you did not buy it from a dealer that had tire mounting and balancing services you'll be out that money which you probably were charge double for since you did not buy the tire from the service provider.

BTW doubling the mounting and balancing charge is the norm since you don't make money on mounting and balancing. We make our money on the tire.

Yes they very well could be stuff that is branded as Drag Specialties that is not up to standards. Go to the food store and buy generic anything and see if it matches the national brand. You get what you pay for and you know going in that the knock offs are not up to the national brand levels since the price is 50% of the national brand.

In the shop we actually love the fact that these "Uneducated People" bring their internet bargains in to have us install them since they can't figure them out. Then when the part won't fit, they get to pay us twice when we re-install the part that we reorder from a company like Drag but it will be a "National Brand" item.

Also don't argue about our only extending a warranty on our labor for the part and installation of an item that you purchased on the internet. Its your nickel now. If you would have bought it from us and had us install it we'd cover the whole deal.

This is my last post on this bull s**t. Obviously I am beating a dead horse. You newbies should all just write Obama and he'll put it on the list of things that he is going to change. Along with the American way of life. Man, what a loser.

Well, I see my efforts in sharing my experinces with MC accessories and vendors has come in direct conflict with your need to be a blowhard know it all.

I wish you the best in all that you put your hands to. I apologize for crossing your path.
