Hello this is my first time on here,just wanting some ideas.
Leaving western Pa.last of june and we are going west thru grand canyon,vegas,hoover dam.Want to ride part of rt. 66 and wanted to know where was a good part and if you have any other good rides,we have no real plans just wherever we end up.
It's already very HOT dn that way. How long are you going for?? I would head further north i.e. Black Hills, Big Horn Mt. in WY. Red Lodge MT , Bear Tooth Pass and Chief Joseph Hwy. Yellowstone, Glasier Nat'l Park etc.

I'm going to Tulsa, then leaving for a couple of months out west. Hitting yellowstone, Rushmore, Devils Tower, Crazy Horse, Custer battelfield, taking the border to washington. Then down thru eastern Califorina, death Valley, Las Vagas, Grand Caynon, I've been to most of them on a bike before but allways had a schedual, I retire the 12th of june and don't know when I'll get back. Leaving Tulsa the 23rd of june. PM me if'n you wanna hook up somewhere between Tulsa and the west coast.
Southern half of Utah has a LOT to see and it's close to your path. Zion, Bryce Canyon, Monument Valley, Valley of the Gods, Natural Bridges, Canyonlands, Arches, Four Corners. Lots of nice riding on almost deserted roads, can't beat it.
