Default Lost a Few MPG
I know this subject has gotten beatin' to death...but I'm gonna ask anyway.

I've lost about 3-4 mpg since I installed a Stage 1 AC, V&H True Duals with Classic Slip-Ons and downloaded a 'canned' EFI map. Is this normal?

I averaged 38mpg before a SE Stage 1 filter, 2-1 Supertrapps and dynoed for economy....now I get 36mpg.

Mine went from 42 mpg to 38 mpg. From reading previous threads on this topic I have seen various results. Some got more mpg...some got less.

Most will get less...

Your adding more fuel to the fire to help cool things down. So yes, you will get less mileage. The question is.. How much less are you getting?

Mine dropped several mpgs with the Stage 1 install.

The true question is, how is your bike running... Better or worst or the same...

If its better then loosing a few mpg is worth it.

This is true as the new combo of air filter and pipes will suck a little more gas then with the stock setup. It's really due to the air filter.

When I got the bike, I had the SE/AC, stock pipes and Stage 1 download. I was getting 36-38 mpg most types of riding.

I know have Jackpots' and a PCIII Dyno Tuned and am doing between 39-44 depending on how loaded up and the roads I am doing.

I seem to be doing better with a tweaked map than I was with the Stage 1 download.

Bike runs fine. Definately got a pop in performance, especially in acceleration. Just wanted to verify my mpg results make sense. Sounds like they do.
