Default Complete Hogtunes Installation

Some input on Hogtunes installation and sound quality.

Over the past month I installed the Hogtunes speakers in front and the later added the Amp, and today added the Tweeter Bar. Thus, I have had a chance to experience all three installations as separate items and to hear the sound from each as they were incrementally added.

The initial speaker installation was a breeze. The overall sound clarity and quality at higher volumes was very good....but seemed to be a bit "muffled" as compared to the original speakers.

Adding the Amp was a fantastic improvement in volume and clarity but still seemed a bit off on the high range.

Adding the Tweeter Pod was extremely simple and the sound is JUST AWESOME. Full range of frequencies, especially in the upper ranges.

My conclusion is that, if you want to spend the money, you can't do much better (if you are adapting to a current HD system) than the complete Hogtunes Speaker/Amp/Tweeter Pod combination. I am now considering the addition of the rear speakers as well.

If the link I added below works, here is a picture. (Changed to an IMAC computer recently and now cannot directly copy code from photobucket.com)

Thanks for the good review on your installations and your opinions! Good to know you're getting a quality product!

Yup,

It is number one. A headturner.

I have EIGHT (8) Hogtunes with two amps.

Fairing fronts, seat rears, glove boxes and the pods.

UFB. Wicked pissa / awesome - a front seat rock concert on two wheels - literally.

The frequency response with the entire system is PERFECTO.

I even sprung an oil leak from all the "musical" vibration
