Default rinehart vs. thunderheader

I have a '99 Road King with the SE slip-ons and the stage 1 air cleaner/efi re-map. Any comments on either the thunderheader or the rhinehart duals for an exhaust change?

I'm a vance and hines person myself. If I was going to spend the money, I would get the Bassanni True Duels as they are equal length pipes.

im a rineharts person! im sure the v&h duals are of equal performance, but in my opinion a bagger needs duals, i think they look funny with a 2 into 1 exhaust.

I had a ThunderHeader on my old WideGlide and loved it.I think I like my Rineharts beter.IMHO I think the true duals just look better on baggers. That's why I went with the Rineharts and now I'm sold on them. And the sound awsome IMO.

Over this last week I had the opportunity to hear a lot of exhaust. The Rineharts sound good, are not offensively loud, and look good. The Thunderheader does not look as good on a dresser, and it is so loud that I find it obnoxious.

Regards,

Bill

Thunderheader makes a lot of power.
Thunderheader makes a lot of noise.
Thunderheader chrome deteriorates within 100 miles.
Thunderheader mounting brackets break continually.

The quality of my rineharts are exceptional. No blueing and a real booger to install. Sounds great and bike is much cooler to ride w/crossover gone.

I have seen many exhaust systems come and go working at a shop.
The thunderheader will outperform the rineharts every time. Even though they may not look the best on a bagger you getover that when you pass your buddy with his 800 dollar rineharts!!!!!!

Every person that rides that works at our shop runs a thunderheader, except three, and two of those bikes have to have Screamin Eagle sytems on them!
That has to say something!
