Nope. There is no power from the aux connection on the stereo. Only way to charge a shuffle is with the docking port plugged into a usb connection.

OK thanks, my pickup won't charge it either then correct?

Only if you use the lighter socket charger.

My nano charges. Use an adapter to plug into the lighter and the usb cable from there. Go to your electronics store and they will have all the items.

Shuffle has a different charging setup. It comes with a docking station that charges through the headphone jack on the ipod itself when plugged into a usb port. I have yet to find an adapter that will charge it and allow you to play music through it at the same time. If somebody knows of one, let me know, I'd love to have one.

Sometimes the bike does make me shuffle a bit differently, mostly after long rides.
