08 stock wheels

what is the best way to remove the gunk and keep the aluminum wheels shining on the ultra classic ?

Tom from http://harleygoodies.com/ here. The best way is to clean them regularly so they do not get a lot of gunk built up on them. That being said, get some wheel cleaner and wash them down. Then get some sort of polish ( I use master gloss) and sealer and spend an afternoon getting them back to looking new. Time is the answer. And a little elbow grease.

Mine looked like crap with only 1500 miles on them. I swapped them for chrome thru Impress Chrome and Plating. Cost $750 when it was all said and done and they are excellent wheels. Now I just spray them off and go.

Best way...quite simply is chrome em. I sent mine to ChromeProsPlating in Corpus Christi, TX. $550 for both wheels. Great job, no chips or pealing after 3+ years.
