Biketronics issue
i had to work a late day, so I didn't have time to get ahold of them.... I need to get a manual... Then I could grab the fluke and double check all of my wires to ensure there are no shorts inside protective wraping. I should be able to get up with them tomorrow. I'll keep you posted...

I have a Biketronics kit in my 01 and I love it! 2 years and over 30,000 miles since install and no problems. Good luck. I hope everything works out, as I recommend Biketronics to anyone who asks about stereo upgrades.
Well, I spent some time on the phone with Bill from Biketronics today. We jumpered some wires and came to the conclusion that the red module is bad....he is sending me a new one and I should have it Monday or Tuesday. Kinda sucks that I have to either leave the fairing open for the rest of the weekend or put it together to ride and pull it back apart in 3 days. (I don't like messing with those HD fasteners that hold the fairing together.) I am happy that they have Bill there to help with technical service and this part has a lifetime warranty!

Well, Biketronics sent me a new module (red box) and I thought I should post up the results....
It works perfectly now.
I am soooo relieved/happy that I am going to try to put another 100 miles on her today.... Gotta run....I mean ride.

I bought the Biketronic's kit last October for my new 09 FLHT.
Great kit, installed without a problem and works great.
I had a question about the AVC ( automatic volume control ) so I emailed them. They where very helpful and even replied back days later to see if that answered my question.
I'd recommend them to anyone.

They did send the BT1002 to me free and included return postage. I saw the invoice price of the BT1002....I was surprized to see that it was supposed to cost $149. I am glad this part has a lifetime warranty!

Chris, while you're feeling so good about Biketronics and their product, why not edit your original post (where you refer to wanting your money back instead of that half *** system) so readers don't have to wade through 15+ posts to find out all is well. Just a thought.
