That gas on the floor is going to get slick if it gets wet?............ No??

Yes I feel very lucky, I had just gotten up to go to the bench to get a rag. Drained and refilled the primary with 32 oz. So all is good, rode bike for about an hour last evening and nothing was wrong. Guess the fall didn't hurt anything. Thanks to all. I have put a lift(jack)on my fathers day want list, also a front wheel chock.

My manual (2007 RK) says 38oz for a wet primary change and 40-something for a complete change, so you probably had it right the first time. Takes about 38oz to see fluid at the bottom of the clutch basket when bike is upright, just like in the book. I typically do what the manual says and not so much what I read on the net. FWIW...

The gas was probably from the fuel overflow, when the bike was on its side i'm sure it sloshed some gas up through there. happens all the time when you tip the bikes, or even if you over fill them at the pump. Glad nothing and no one was hurt!
