I have an '09 FLHTCU and it is about as flawless as a bike could be. The '09s may be the best bikes Harley has ever built.

I had that on my 86 Heritage, 89 Ultra Classic, 02 Ultra Classic and 04 Screamin Eagle Electra Glide a tire or two on each of them. But get em (and keep em) balanced right and good shocks and that problem goes away real fast.

The wife's 09 Street Glide has 10,000 miles on it and no cupping signs so far. Looking good so far. I guess the problems that the initiator of this thread is referring to is how damn fast you can rack up 10k trouble free miles.

Somebody above said it and I agree....quite possibly the best motorcycle that the MoCo has ever made. Not complainin at all about the twin cams, though. Hell, I thought the Evo's were leaps and brounds over everything I'd rode up till then......think the same of the TC. I was very surprised with the new frame and the ABS and not ashamed to admit it.....they went above and beyond my expectations!

I believe the front tire cupping is only on 17" models and not the 16?

Have a good ride Jeff, make sure you have them check the pressure in the rear shocks before you take off, my service rep keeps putting the 08 and priop pressure, the 09's reqoire alot more. Matter of fact just pick up a shock pump them.

2500 miles in the last 7 weeks or so. Nothing but smiles.

They run hot, thanks to the EPA. Get a PCV, pipes and AC.

Ride safe.

might as well jack this thread. i did remove the brackets from the whole bike and am holding the bracket with the strap in my hand (??) i think it is a rivet and non removable.

regarding any problems. hole in the front of swing arm and had to drill a hole in the plastic belt guard, no loose bolts yet, and the factory stereo presets don't work right away when i first turn on the bike. runs pretty hot even which stage 1 (i have a california version). but, even with these minor issues in my opinion, still love my 09 roadglide and plan on keeping it for a long time. it wouldn't be a harley without at least a few issues.
