there is a built in problem with every new harley. they turn strangely, and it's always in to a harley dealership to find more chrome. digz, you want air condioning? what's next, automatic trans and like the honda leadwing, heaven forbid, an air bag too? yeow. great bikes the 09's from what i understand. my 08 sg is paid for, so i'm gonna ride the nuts off of it, then trade if there is anything short of a space ship lookin thing like that polaris victory vision.

 

The only problem I've had was a short in the right handlebar harness that was causing my Accessory Fuse to blow. I don't blame it on any of the '09 changes. It's just one of those things that happens. It took two trips to the dealership to find it, but it's fixed now. Got it back weekend before last, put 250 miles on it during the week and then about 700mi r/t to Vegas this past weekend without a single problem. I LOVE MY '09!

 

Go for it , I have had mine since Feb. trade my 2006 Ultra CLassic and never looked back , great machine. Handles much better than the 06. Rear shocks need more pressure than the 06 , and had the Jiffy stand bracket replaced , leaned a bit more than 06 but they took care of the problems if you ask. Your should get a great deal at this time so go for it , you only live once .

 

turkey run, the 2010's will be out in less than two months. there might be some great changes for that year. might wanna be a bit patient. and the remaining 09's with the poor economy might mean that either the motor company sells them at a discount rather than them having to eat their own product. i know that arizona and oklahoma, for example, have showrooms that are packed, sent from indiana, michigan, ohio where manufacturing has gone **** up. sad scenario, indeed.
