I wanted to tell everyone "Thanks" who gave us responses to my thread about going to Wisc. this past week. We left So. Il Sat. about 7am, made it to Aurora, Il and then up to Milw. about 4p. Checked in at Germantown, Wisc. and went to Milw. next day. Saw the HD Temple and several other sites. Left Tuesday to GreenBay and sister-in-laws house (Free night!!) Left for Deluth on Wed. Left from Deluth on Thurs. for La Crosse Wisc. on Minn. side. Made it to LaCrosse and checked in and CRASHED!!! Left from there on Friday AM, went down 35 into Iowa and then into Il. at Moline only to cross into Mo. down to 70 and home. Grand total 2137 miles in 6 days!!!
Saw some sights that people suggested such as:
House on the Rock, Holly Hill, Cave of the Mounds, Lake Genivea, HD Museum, Rt 35 down the river on the Wisc. side. Thak you all for your suggestions and replys!!
