My husband just installed a PCV from FuelMoto on his '07 Ultra today & gave it a test drive.
The goal was a cooler ride but he says he can't tell much difference.
They customized the maps for his model of bike.
He said that as long as he was on the highway with the air blowing through it, it was ok.
But when he got in a little stop & go, it really heated up.
So much so that the motor ran rough.
He then went back onto the highway (70 mph) but said it never seemed to cool back down.
And it still ran rough.
Any ideas guys?
He's really getting discouraged here.
I LOVE my bike & want him to love his too!
just installed my PCV and stage one AC from Fuel Moto and have Bub 7s TD.....haven't rode it yet to see if theres been any difference...at work now
guess I'll find out tomorrow, have a charity ride we're doing....can't wait to see how she runs
Rode today from St. George, UT to Moab, UT another 400+ miles include two mountain passes over 9,000 ft. Pushed it very hard trying to stay with my buddy on his BMW. The mileage has come down from 44.6 MPG which is what I got on the same route a year ago to 40.6 MPG this year. A small decrease in gas mileage, but a big increase in comfort and performance! Given what I have spent on the bike the mileage decrease is the least of my worries...having fun is the primary concern and this thing is finaly FUN!!
