Default Lowered...HELP!

I recently installed a 1-1/2" lowering Kit on my '07 RK Classic. Now the bags won't go on. They hit the shocks. Don't even come close. I have to modify the bags... any suggestions?....Heating and moulding WILL NOT WORK ... Itried. I have a new set of bags. Any input would be appeciated.
Thanks

You can drill out the rivets that hold the rubber locater blocks on the bottom of the bags...then scoot them inward from the original position which would make the bottom of the backs move out so the shock will fit in there. I did it on my 01 RKC. Just have to move it about a half inch or so...then just ether bolth the block on or pop rivet it back on.

Use spacers behind the saddlebag mounts. Lowering kit changes shock angle.

Most places that sell the lowering blocks have a disclaimer that the blocks fit all touring EXCEPT the RKC because of the bag issue. Maybe send yours back and look for some that don't change the shock angle. TP Products used to make em, don't know if they do for newer bikes tho.

Never liked my lowering kit, too many issues on handling also. Save yourself alot of time,& aggravation and get your shocks cut down by bitchin baggers instead. A much better soulution.
