1989 flhs
This could be a stupid Q but I imagine anything is possible if you know how to do the work. Anyways I was curious if I could swap my gas tank for one with my console and gages on it? I want to do this b/c I want to try and see if I can get a Dead Center fairings on my bike this winter.

My father has a 92 flhs and we want to put on a fairing on his also. I have talked to the dealership and they said the original fairing is still available, but the hardware isn't. We may go that route and make our own brackets. It sucks when they stop making parts for such old bikes (Evos).

Yeah it really does suck. I never used to like the fairings b/c I thought the FLHS had a very unique look but I also think the fairings on the EG's are just kind of a signature of the family so I want it for that reason. Thanks for the reply.
