Hey Gang. New guy here. 53 yrs old, been riding for 5 yrs now, and just bought my 1st Harley. Don't know why I waited so long! I'm really enjoying it. Got an 09 E.G Classic.
Bought Hogtunes speakers, amp, tweeter pod, and listen to an ipod, but not unlike everybody else, I want more bass. Was thinking about getting a subwoofer. Even if I might not be able to hear alot of bass over 55 mph, thought I might be able to feel some thumpin' & that might satisfy my bass need.
--Anybody got a subwoofer?
--Where did/would you put it on the bike? Inside TourPak?
--Which subwoofer did/would you get?
--Can the battery handle any extra power needed for a subwoofer?
Really didn't think I'd be able to get much out of those small speakers. Do you know if Bose makes anything that'll work in the E.G. fairing? Bose is great stuff. Thanks.
FBI (Fat Baggers Inc.) has a sub that goes in the tour pack. I saw it at the V twin expo here in cincinnati, and sitting there it obviously sounded great. Moving, I don't know, but it looks like a real slick setup. Not cheap though.
