I'm thinking of buying either an EG Classic or an Ultra. I'll either be getting an 09 or a 2010. The question I have is why pay the extra $2k for the Ultra? I'm having a tough time figuring out what comes on the Ultra that is worth the extra money? What I know is that the Ultra has a bigger stereo and 2 more speakers, a CB radio, and some kind of intercom connectivity. Is there more to it than that? Thanks.
Well with the Ultra you'll never sit around wishing you'd got this or that cause everything is included. The 2k buys relief from Ultra envy. Then again, if you don't care about the stereo, cd player, speakers, intercom, CB radio, lowers, - -
I got the Ultra - just looked complete.
Same here for the Ultra. Bought it because everything was already on there and if I wanted to remove something at a later date it would be easier on my wallet then wishing I had bought the Ultra and then having to go out and buy lowers, a trunk, etc.
The big selling point for me was the lowers and the trunk. The CB is cool but I haven't used it yet. Nor will I probably ever use the intercom. Glad I have them though, to keep my options open.
I have had two classics but I'm ready for the Ultra, I want the better stereo, lowers for inclement(?) weather, CB seldom, Intercoms very possible, extra lights in rear a huge plus and cruise I won't go without anymore.
